Onstage Brisbane ~ Swaps

I am back again with another Onstage post.
These are my swaps I made for the Crazy Crafters team at Onstage. I would have loved to make more but I just simply ran out of time.
Life of a stay at home Mum with a feral toddler (just keeping it real) haha!

Plus I tend to overthink things and make them way more complicated than they need to be. As it was I made 32 of them since there were so many Crazy Crafters going. We are a crazy bunch!! (the best kind of crazy)

This is my little production line post when I was in the midst of sewing around the edges of all the card bases. I have an addiction to sewing, I love the handmade touch it gives the cards.
Although now with the gorgeous stitched framelits would give you a beautiful finish also.
You can see them in my shop here.

Here's a look at the finished cards.
I didn't have enough card to do them all the same colour so I have a mixture of Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo. I love how the in colours look with this gorgeous tropical pineapple.

I chose the pineapple because it reminded me of Queensland (we grew up there and have many fond memories of The Big Pineapple).
I also hadn't used that stamp set, so was glad to see it used!

I sponged the stamp with a dauber using peekaboo peach, daffodil delight and old olive.
You can tell that it's sponged but I love the colour variation and the sponged technique.

I have also used the Timeless Textures stamp set for the Flirty Flamingo 'ink blobs' and some gorgeous Stampin' Write marker 'spritzes'

I finished the card off with a thoughtful banners stamp with the word 'inspiring' because that's what this group of ladies are raised on some dimensionals. I also added some metallic black thread and some rhinestones.
You can see the bottom of the post for a full supplies list.

I will be back with another post soon sharing some more things from Onstage.
In the mean time I will share a couple of photos of some of the lovely ladies I met at Onstage.

This is the lovely Ellen Woodbridge. This amazing lady I have known since I was 14! That is almost 12 years ago, how crazy is that? She is just as lovely in person as she has been online all these years & what a talented lady!

My gorgeous upline Missy (Michelle Mills). This lady has been my rock since I joined. I bombard her with questions all the time and I have appreciated all her support. She is a legend & super hilarious!

The lovely Renae Crosby! Another gorgeous online friend. Was so great to meet you in person Nae!

I was SO SO excited to get a photo with the gorgeous Louise Sharp. She got announced as a Stampin' up Artisan team member for 2016-2017! Her work is seriously AMAZING. I was so thrilled to meet her.

I hope you enjoyed today's post.
I will be back with more over the coming days.
